HP DesignJet T230 24” Printer (2025 Edition) (5HB07D) and the HP DesignJet T250 24” Printer (2025 Edition) (5HB06D) are both compact large-format printers designed for technical professionals and creatives who require A1 printing capabilities in a small footprint. Both models use HP Bright Office Inks, offer up to 2400 × 1200 optimised dpi resolution, and support roll and sheet media with optional accessories such as a stand and automatic sheet feeder. Each printer is constructed with over 40% recycled plastic and 5% recycled metal, and both feature energy-saving technologies including a power scheduler and reduced ink consumption during maintenance.
The key differences lie in print performance and colour capability. The T250 prints an A1 page in 30 seconds, while the T230 takes 35 seconds, making the T250 more suitable for users with higher volume output needs. In addition, the T250 delivers up to 34% more colour gamut than the T230, providing richer and more vibrant output—particularly beneficial for design-focused applications. The T250 offers enhanced speed and colour output compared the the T230 model, making it better suited for demanding or graphics-intensive environments.
The printer includes HP Click software, enabling fast and intuitive job submission from PDFs and other file types with a single click. Users can print and manage jobs remotely via the HP app. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0, with optional accessories such as a stand and automatic sheet feeder for increased versatility.
This model is built with sustainability in mind. The T250 contains over 40% recycled plastic and 5% recycled metal. It is ENERGY STAR® certified and features fully fibre-based packaging with a 73% reduction in plastic.
