Neschen Filmolux Performance Gloss 80µm:  The self-adhesive, transparent, and polymeric protection film filmolux® performance gloss increases the durability of film- or paper-based digital printing media. The glossy surface ensures a high-quality finish and makes printing inks look even more brilliant and luminous. filmolux® performance gloss protects against mechanical damage, moisture, abrasion, and other harmful external influences. The integrated UV protection delays the fading of prints. filmolux® performance gloss has an environmentally friendly, water-based adhesive and can be used inside or outside.

FEATURES:

• One-sided self-adhesive cadmium-free, gloss, transparent, colourless, 80 μm polymer, phthalate-free PVC-film
• Coated with a solvent-free, age resistant- and permanently elastic acrylate adhesive
• Glossy surface, printable with solvent based and UV-curable inks
• Easy neutralising of adhesive
• No chemical reaction between solvent inks and acrylate adhesive
• Permanent bonding

PROCESSING & HANDLING:

• Especially when laminating inkjet prints care must be taken to ensure sufficient drying and completely curing of the inks. We recommend minimum of 24 hours .
• Weather resistance even more can be improved by sealing the edges with outdoor proof varnish or laminating overlapping (approx. 2cm wider than the exhibit). Recommended especially for long-term application.
• Possibly arising adhesive residues can be removed with help of denatured alcohol or benzene.
