For those with a bug bear over the cost of ink cartridges Epson have for the first time launched an A1 Plotter with bottled ink - The Epson SC-T3100X.

Epson today launches a new professional technical printer: The SureColor SC-T3100x at 24 inches complimenting the existing SC-T3100 series users can choose between the desktop SC-T3100N aimed at very low volume users and the SC-T3100 which utilises standard ink cartridges with the advantage of stand & basket. UK shipping is anticipated December / November 2019.

The SureColor SC-T3100X is based on the recently launched SC-T3100 and is a cost-effective entry-level printer suitable for, among others, posters, shops with quick retail signage needs & POS , Architects, Construction companies & schools.

The SC-T3100x refillable ink solution uses bottles of 140 ml instead of cartridges, making it both user-friendly and cost-effective. Other features include:

  • Wi-Fi connection
  • Unique nozzle verification technology (NVT) that prevents error printing
  • Robust design with the smallest footprint in Epson's range of technical printers
  • Low total cost of ownership
