HP Launch NEW HP Designjet T2500

HP Launch NEW HP Designjet T2500
HP Designjet T2500

The much antcipated HP Designjet T2500 EMFP is now shipping and the launch has seen a generous trade-in scheme introduced to allow you to get some value out of your old plotter or plan copier.

The Designjet t2500 is available in two variants, a postscript enabled version and a lower cost non-postscript unit , however, this can be upgraded to postscript later. It is unlikley the standard variant will sell in big numbers as with the outgoing T2300 unit the postcript device is likely to be more popular on a 9 to 1 sales ratio with just 10% of users opting for the cheaper version. Upgrading the standard model will be costly and the upgrade requires the permanent use of the USB port, preventing from saving to a stick or printing from one.

Opting for the postcript version the CR359a model will provide scan to PDF straight to a network location, cloud, email or USB along with the ability to batch print multiple PDF's.

HP have not reinvented the wheel from the highly succesful T2300 they have kept all the good bits, 2 roll feeds, scan, print and copy in full colour and made the unit enabled to use HP ePrint and share. Where they have made changes HP have really put some thought in to users needs. The product is therefore not simply a refresh but is genuinely a new product with the following updates.

  • Width is reduced to the more popular A0 size providing scanning & output at 914mm / 36"
  • A much smaller footprint is delivered through this A0/A1 platform, ideal for when your tight on space
  • A choice of conveineant top delivery of prints for easy access or a standard plot bin
  • Media changes are now made at the front of the Designjet T2500 making this task easier for users.
  • *Remote Diagnostics provide more uptime including automated partner ink ordering.

The trade-in program delivers up to £900 cash back for your old unit including it's disposal, allowing you to move up to this platform at a more affordable cost. Rental, Service and Install options are available givinge users a flexible choice in how they fund and maintain their machine.

An Ink discount scheme is also available for users whom use just 1 litre of ink per quarter.
