HP Launch NEW HP Designjet T520 & Designjet T120 Plotter
HP product announcement - HP announce launch of NEW HP Designjet T520 & Designjet T120, UK shipments will begin on Nov 1st, 2012.
Replacing the highly succesful HP Designjet 510 which was originally launched in 2000 and the HP Designjet 111 & 111R which are both based on a ten year old platform, the new products deliver some exciting new features and provide the industry benchmark for CAD wide format plotters.
The T120 & T520 are the first wide format devices which ship with Wi-Fi as standard but also feature both LAN and USB connectivity. Increasing the breadth of functionailty from any other manufacturers product both devices feature Front Loading Roll feeds with impressive 91mtr length rolls along with a media tray feed for 50 sheets in up to A3 size, manual sheet feed is also possible.
The addition of the tray allows users to even print word documnets, so loading with A4 gives you a complete office solution without the worry of multiple printers, furthermore due to HP's new print head & lower cost ink delivery HP estimate that the T120 and T520 can deliver A3 output at up to 15% less cost than traditional Desktop A3 printers.
The innovative new HP 711 Printhead provides consistent, sharp, accurate results. An integrated 4-colour, long-life HP printhead is designed together with the T120 and T520 printer as an optimised printing system enabling consistent, outstanding results from the first print.
The HP Designjet T520 features 1GB Memory, Built in HP-GL2 and 2400dpi output, the T120 has a smaller amount of memory at 256mb double that of the 111 platform and provides 1200DPI output.
