PROCESSING & HANDLING:
- Dry application only. The prevents any accumulation of water within the channels which could cause white colouring of the adhesive
- Use cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints on the media
- When applied to windows it is recommended to leave a 2mm gap between film and rubber gasket to avoid any accumulation of water and possible reduction of adhesive strength
- To prevent stripes in the adhesive film the liner should be removed evenly
- When cutting filigree/small letters it is recommended to use a sharp knife and adjust speed
- Usage of PVC application tape with moderate adhesive strength (e.g 2N/25mm) is endorsed
- Due to the increased UV radiation when printing with UV-Curable inks, life of the PVC film may be reduced.
- To avoid any unwelcome scratches on the surface of the film it is recommended to use a very soft squeegee. These scratches will remain in the film when applied on glass and will not disappear.
- After plotting the films should be stored & dispatched laying flat
- Possible adhesive residues can be easily removed using denatured alcohol or benzene
