All you need to know about the Neolt NEOLAM H 205 120°C Pneumatic Laminator (NL170)

NEOLT NEOLAM H GRAPHIC
Neolt NEOLAM H 205 120°C Pneumatic Laminator (NL170):

Thanks to the use of pneumatic technology, the Neolam Plus series reduces machine setup and preparation times and therefore the need to employ specialized personnel. Contrary to laminators with electric pressure technology, the possibility of error in calculating the thickness is eliminated.

The laminator can be used for both hot and cold lamination with both rollers temperature being adjustable between 0 and 120°C expanding the range of supported applications.  The Auto-Speed function also maintains a constant rolling temperature during use.

**Maximum working width: 2050mm with maximum media thickness of 40mm. Both rollers max 120°C**

MAIN FEATURES:

  • EASE OF USE Very simple loading and positioning of the material. Motor-driven winding of the material protecting the upper and lower roll. Easy loading and positioning the material. 45°C cold lamination. Front rolls heated from 0°C to 120°C degrees with an infra-red heater for hot lamination/ encapsulation. Option to heat only upper or lower roll or both. Easy to control the tension of the film.
  • EXTRAS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE Keyboard to control all machine functions . Rolls temperature and laminating thickness shown on the display. Speed visible on display and controlled from keyboard.
  • SAFETY Pedal control for hands free operations. Complete safety system with emergency off switch and optical sensors.
  • ADDITIONAL OPTIONS Swivel wheels and adjustable locking feet. Professional machine equipped with automatically controlled servomechanisms. Silent mechanical operation.

COLD LAMINATION ADVANTAGES:

  • Requires less maintenance and set-up time, inexpensive, and easier to use.
  • pressure from the rollers of a cold laminator will remove the unsightly bubbles that sometimes occur with a laminate.
  • In general, colours and quality of the printed document are typically better in comparison. The heat of a hot laminator can cause colours to bleed or degrade.
  • Excellent option for adhesive decorations and decals because only one side of a graphic can be laminated.

HOT LAMINATION ADVANTAGES:

  • Provides more durable protection and typically a faster laminate job.
  • Additional laminating applications including a variety of heat settings.
  • Materials used in a hot laminator generally cost much less than the materials used in a cold laminator.
  • The high heat generated by a hot laminator can damage some materials, inks, and colours. To protect documents from the impact of heat, special plastic laminates can be used.
  • It may take some time and experience to master the skill of using a hot laminator successfully. If the users are not careful, the heating elements can cause serious danger to them.
