CANON CARTRIDGE BANNER

  • Outdoor durable signage
  • Vehicle graphics (only flat surfaces)

  • Excellent print quality
  • High gloss, white surface
  • Permanent adhesive
  • Suitable for latex, solvent and eco solvent printing
  • PE-coated release liner
  • 3" core

Allow material to adapt to room conditions for 24 hours before printing. It is recommended to handle the media with cotton gloves. Make sure that the media comes not into contact with grease, oil, silicon, and dirt to avoid printing defects. Load the media with care in the printers. Incorrect loading can cause skewing or creasing. Use a take- up device to prevent wrinkling. It is recommended to calibrate the printer before printing and to make a test print. Print results will vary for different printer/ink combinations.

Canon media profiles include recommended settings for ink restrictions and printer parameters. Depending on fluctuations in environment, printer, ink, media and applications, printer parameters may have to be adjusted slightly, in order to obtain the best results.

For high-speed production printing, using an external drying unit is recommended.

Optimal bonding properties are obtained on smooth and flat, dirt-and grease-free surfaces Fresh lacquered surfaces should not be used for the application of the vinyl foil. The vinyl can be applied to a large number of suitable flat and smooth surfaces (dirt-and grease-free). Pretesting the adhesive onto unknown surfaces is strongly advised.

When applying, temperature should be higher than 10°C. Service temperature range: -40°C to +90°C.

IJM614 is suitable to apply to wet surfaces. Temporary whitening may appear but will disappear after a short period once the adhesive has completely dried.

For removal Canon recommend to start with one corner and slowly peel off the surface with a 60° – 90° peel angle. It may be helpful to use a hot-air blower or metal scraper but this must be used with caution to avoid surface damage. In the unlikely event that some adhesive residues remain on the surface they can easily be removed with a lemon-based cleaner or solvent (e.g. heptanes, isopropylicalcohol, acetone).

Let the prints dry for at least 48 hours before laminating. Only pressure sensitive laminates are recommended for outdoor usage. Lamination will improve the UV resistance of the print and protects it against abrasion.
