UltiMaker ABS White 750g Filament (1622)

  • Description

    ULTIMAKER FILAMENT MAIN BANNER

UltiMaker ABS White 750g Filament (1622): Used by an array of industries worldwide, ABS is known for its exceptional mechanical properties. Ultimaker ABS is specifically formulated to minimise warping and ensure consistent interlayer adhesion. This product is approximately 90m long.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)can be used in common applications including end-use tools, moving parts, and parts that have to withstand high mechanical stress.

    ULTIMAKER ABS PROPERTIES

UltiMaker ABS, while less strong and less rigid than PLA, is tougher and lighter filament more suitable for some applications beyond purely hobbyist. ABS is more durable, is about 25% lighter, with four times higher impact resistance.

ABS provides engineers with a low-cost approach for development cycles, allowing them to quickly design, print, and test prototypes before entering full production. By 3D printing ABS, you can accurately simulate the form, fit, and function of an end-use part’s performance giving you confidence in the final design.

Easy Transition from concept design to manufacturing in days, thanks to the ability of ABS filament to create functional and mechanically strong products.

    KEY FEATURES:

    • Excellent interlayer adhesion
    • Good bed adhesion
    • Enhanced strength for functional prototypes and manufacturing end-use parts
    • Enhanced mechanical properties of regular ABS
    • Not suitable for applications where the printed part is exposed to temperatures over 85°C

    APPLICATIONS:

    • Visual & functional prototyping
    • Short-run manufacturing
    • Complex end-use parts
