Media Size & Compatibility Guidance
Roll Diameter
The maximum roll length supported by the SC-T3100 series for standard 90g/m² inkjet paper is 50 metres on a 2″ (50mm) core.
Heavier presentation and coated media have a larger roll diameter, so a 30 metre roll should be selected for these materials. All roll media must be supplied on a 2″ core.
Roll Width
For A1 and A2 technical drawings, we strongly recommend ordering 594mm wide rolls, which match UK & EU industry-standard drawing sizes.
While 24-inch rolls are commonly available, they are intended for US formats and can lead to unnecessary paper waste and increased strain on the printer’s output tray. Choosing 594mm ensures efficient paper usage and smoother day-to-day operation.
