What is Epson CoverPlus (Extended Warranty)?
Epson P7500 Coverplus warranty is Epson’s branded extended-warranty and service program that extends parts, labour and service beyond the standard factory warranty for SureColor large format printers.
Unlike other manufacturers warranties the CoverPlus extension also includes print heads – this is subject to terms and conditions. Plot it are able to advise on any specific printer, do contact our customer sales team.

What CoverPlus Typically Covers for SC-P7500
- Parts and labour for covered failures during the CoverPlus term.
- Up to 1 Printhead per year, subject to T&C’s
- On-site mainland UK repair (check with us if offshore) with best endeavour of 2 days
- Priority telephone and email support, a registration process that issues a security/activation code to register the plan.
How Epson typically treats printheads under CoverPlus
- Printhead coverage under Epson extended plans is model- and plan-specific. Check with Plot it for your specific model.
- Included (with limits) — Some CoverPlus / On-Site packs for large-format printers explicitly include printhead replacement as part of the service, sometimes with a specified allowance (for example: a set number of printhead replacements per year).
Exclusions & Conditions That Can Void Coverage
Epson CoverPlus plans usually contain standard exclusions — if these apply, a printhead or service claim may be refused:
- Use of non-genuine ink, consumables or third-party parts. Using third-party inks/parts is a common reason claims are declined.
- Repairs by unauthorised technicians or modifications not approved by Epson.
- Failure to follow required maintenance (e.g., recommended head cleanings, firmware updates, environment controls).
