Canon IJM566 Backlit Film Front Print Matt 215mic: A polyester film for high quality backlit applications and is a front-print backlit with a matt surface. The coating is fast drying and designed for outdoor applications, high density and shows saturated colours.

Allow material to adapt to room conditions for 24 hours before printing. It is recommended to handle the media with cotton gloves. Make sure that the media comes not into contact with grease, oil, silicon, and dirt to avoid printing defects. Insert the film with care in the printer. Incorrect loading can cause skewing or creasing.

It is recommended to calibrate the printer before printing and to make a test print. Print results will vary for different printer ink combinations. Ink restrictions and printer settings have to be set for specific printer-ink combinations to obtain the best results. Canon media profiles will set recommended ink restrictions and printer settings for Canon supported printers. Depending on environment and application, printer parameters may have to be adjusted slightly in order to obtain the best results.

IJM566 can be used without lamination. However, we recommend protecting the film if it is subject to mechanical abrasion. Let the prints dry for at least 24hrs before laminating. Use only pressure sensitive laminates.
