SiHL Luna Canvas Prime 340 Matt AQ 340g/m² (3857): High quality, matt canvas with a natural structure for professional photographic prints and artistic reproductions. Luna Canvas Prime Matt AQ is a high quality artistic canvas, based on a cotton/polyester blend and coated with a waterbased receptive coating.

The 2:1 structure offers a slight irregular structure, optimal for artistic reproduction and Fine Art printing. OBA-Free to preserve natural colouring whilst also extending your works lifespan. The matt finish eliminates disruptive reflections and enables photorealistic prints with excellent colours and deep, rich blacks. The material shows no white-scoring and prints is splashproof.

The converting and storage should take place in a climate of 35 to 65% relative humidity at temperatures of between 10 and 30°C. Due to the natural components of the material it tends to curl when relative humidity is fairly high, which can cause print head damage. We recommend that the material is first removed from original packaging when printing commences!. After the printing process put the media back in its original packaging. Cotton gloves are always recommended when handling Inkjet coated materials to avoid fingerprints.

Use dye inks only for short-term application (2-3 weeks).The inkjet coating is water- resistant with the correct inks as shown below. The product has mainly been designed for indoor applications. For long-term applications, the use of pigmented inks is strongly recommended. The media may also be sewn and used as a banner. Attention when using cut sheets: only put one sheet into the printer feeding. For protection and to reduce the impact of dirt, physical abrasion or other environmental impact we recommend to use a protective laquer.
