    Printing:

For optimum results select the highest print quality. All unprotected instant dry media suffers from gas fading to some degree, depending on the display environment. Pigment inks require a cure time before reaching full dry strength, this will vary depending on the ink involved and the post print environment.

    Finishing :

To add surface protection from dirt, abrasion and gas-fading, a pressure sensitive or warm laminate is recommended. Although ink drying is virtually immediate, it is still recommended to allow a waiting time of approximately 3 hours before lamination. In order to prevent moisture ingress and paper splitting, lamination with a 5-6mm encapsulated edge is recommended. Laminate must be evenly applied to the print in order to avoid curling. Alternatively for some applications a UV resistant spray can be utilised.
