Contex XD2490 MFP Large Format A1 colour scanner Print Solution

The Contex XD2490 MFP solution provides small offices involved with AEC, CAD or GIS activity a more affordable solution that works with their existing wide format printers to make fast, accurate large format copies & scans using a simple touch-screen interface, powered by Contex Nextimage TOUCH software.

Users looking for an A1 24-inch colour printer can now upgrade to a full MFP solution that allows scanning, copying, and emailing wide format images.

The special XD MFP stand (also available separately for exisiting XD2490 users) is designed to fit 24-inch (or larger) printers from Canon, HP, and others without needing more space than already required by the printer. The stand supports a 15-inch (or smaller) touchscreen. A PC platform is cleverly hidden on the back of the stand, and the screen is angled so you can operate while standing in front of the scanner.

Included Nextimage TOUCH software allows users to operate without the need of a keyboard or mouse, and can easily be configured to scan specific document types saved in the menu as "presets."

A great idea that should have come to market earlier, combined with an HP Designjet or Canon imagePROGRAF printer it's an affordable solution which packs a big punch!
